September 24th staged reading by Theatre One Productions of "The Johnsons' Fastastical Family Tree", full-length drama which received a 2023 grant-in-playwriting from the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
THE JOHNSONS' FANTASTICAL FAMILY TREE is the story of the Johnson family at an ominous time – both in their own lives and in the world. The youngest member, Tony, is confronting the insanity of his life; his older sister, Bella, is on the verge of losing custody of her son to her ex-husband; and his oldest sister, Sonja, is about to lose her marriage. They are all dealing with “the world, the flesh, and the devil” against the backdrop of an impending catastrophe. The play had a public staged reading on 9/24/23 with actors from Theatre One Productions.
